About the UP-CMC

The University of the Philippines College of Mass Communication (UP CMC) is the only one of its kind in the country. It offers nine academic programs housed in five departments.

The Departments of Broadcast Communication, Communication Research, Journalism, and the Film Institute offer Bachelor of Arts (BA) and Master of Arts (MA) in Media Studies and in Communication degree programs in their respective disciplines.

The Graduate Studies Department coordinates with the four departments to offer the Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Communication and the Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Media Studies.
