UNIC Manila invites shutterbugs to join photo contest!

The United Nations Information Center invites students to join its photo contest titled, "Forests for the People." The contest is open to all enrolled college and university students in the Philippines. This year's theme will focus on forests, and all submissions should tie into the UN theme, International Year of Forests: Celebrating Forests for People (http://www.un.org/en/events/iyof2011/).

Cash prizes are up for grabs for the third, second and first prize winners. Deadline for entry submission is on August 5, 2011.
